Book Review -
For the last few years, my love for poetry is growing immensely, and it's been a while since I read any, so when The Shore of Quietude comes my way, I was delighted. It's is written by Sandeep S, and some compositions were formerly penned in Hindi and Italian language, later transcribed into English.
In his debut book, the author compiled a group of verses that show the aspects of desire and life and death in general. Some of them are dedicated to his friends and parents, while the others came from the deepness of his heart that will take you to many places.
It is a collection of 68 poems picturing the different phases of friends, family, lover, creation, attachment, seclusion, faithfulness, and many more. I think if the author divides the poems into sections followed by emotions or relations or anything else, then it will be more impactful. But otherwise, it's a good read. With a straightforward writing style, the author did a good job. I recommend this fast-paced poetry book.
