Rippling Waters of Solitude is a lovely compilation of poems by Ameya Bondre. This is his second book and consists of twenty-six beautiful pieces. What is unique about this book is that there is no specific style of poetry.
The lines were composed as a free flow, in which some make sense to poetry lovers while the rest are left to the reader's vision on how they ponder it. Although the central theme I found in his work is loneliness and distress, there are many different things too.
It is a combination of recollections, adventures, and introspections, all woven into the structure that will leave the readers spellbound. I saw a flicker of hope in A Letter, unconditional love in A Darling, everlasting memories in Friendship and Those Days, gloom in Conversation, and many more emotions I felt while reading this book.
Apart from the verses, this book is adorned with gorgeous illustrations, and I haven't seen a book as stunning as this one. A few of Ameya Bondre's works create a lyrical effect, but they are primarily vivid and provoke an emotional response. If you're a poetry lover, then you must read this book. I recommend it.
