Agent S.H.A.R.P is the first full-fledged novel written by Bakchod Writer (penname). This science fiction revolves around a whole new world where the Galaxy is named Funny Way, and the story is set in a country called Intauro, on the Roeayt planet.
Set in the year 20,018, the story follows the life of Saros Ketar, a young man who is ripped between living a mundane life as a customer care executive and seeking revenge for the death of his family at the hands of the Ralakat terrorist organization.
The story starts with a bang as Saros is unexpectedly thrown into a world of chaos and brutality after becoming a victim of the same terror group that killed his family. As he tries to navigate his new reality, Saros is forced to confront his inner demons and muster up the courage to fight against his oppressors.
He found himself amid ARF (Anti-Ralakat Force) because of his hidden abilities discovered by his closed one. It leads him to go on a mission with another character named Kyani. Together they realize that things are not as simple as they think they would be; the whole dynamic of the task changes when they discover what their enemies are planning.
But will they be able to fight Humo (Human-Evolved), who looks like an average human but has extreme strength and is difficult to eradicate? Will Kyani and Saros find some common ground so their mission will not fail? What about the element for which all these planning and plotting are happening, destroying the civilians' lives? You will have to read the book to find the answers.
The author does an excellent job of building a new world, but it could have been better regarding technologies and characters. The author's descriptive writing style helps to paint a vivid picture of this futuristic world and the challenges Saros must face.
One can see the growth in Saros' character throughout the story. He goes through a significant transformation from a timid and uncertain young man to a courageous and determined agent of justice. The other characters, allies, and enemies are well-rounded and believable.
Overall, it is an engaging and entertaining read that appeals to science fiction and action-adventure novel fans. The author's skillful storytelling and attention to detail make for a gripping and satisfying tale, and I would love to read its next part. However, the story has great potential for a prequel, and I hope the author will think about it too. Recommended read!
